ProCare Australia were established in South-East Queensland in 2003, as the first boutique Recruitment and Labour Hire Agency committed to providing staffing support to the Community Services sector. We are a small team, doing big things and making a positive impact on communities.

ProCare Australia are seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to provide recruitment support to our business, and our Clients within the Community Services sector (Government, Not-For-Profit Organisations and private companies). 

The role provides variety, with Talent Acquisition (internal recruitment) of Community Service Labour Hire professionals (who are casually employed directly by ProCare Australia), as well as providing End to End 360 Recruitment support to our Clients.

We recruit for roles across Child Protection, Domestic and Family Violence, Housing and Homelessness, Alcohol and other Drugs, Mental Health, Humanitarian Support and Disability.

ProCare Australia’s office is based in Woolloongabba, with free parking on site and access to a hybrid work arrangement. 

The role is Full Time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 4:30pm.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • 360 End to End recruitment of Community Service professionals to meet the needs of ProCare Australia and our Clients
  • Complete comprehensive Job Briefs with Clients to have an in-depth understanding of their requirements
  • Write and manage job ads, responding to applicants with a sense of urgency
  • Find creating ways to proactively source Candidates
  • Screen, interview and complete pre-employment checks with Candidates
  • Provide quality, timely and responsive service to meet the needs our our Clients and Candidates
  • Follow processes to ensure quality assurance 
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, ensuring compliance, using ProCare Australia’s custom built database
  • Build relationships with Client and Candidates to generate further opportunities
  • Maintaining current knowledge of issues affecting the Community Services sector, including social and environmental impacts of the sector

 

To Be Successful

A minimum of 12 months experience in recruitment, ideally agency recruitment, is preferred. 

We are open to applicants without recruitment experience, who have transferrable skills, and a genuine desire to build a successful recruitment career – please include a cover letter with your application highlighting what you can bring to the role. 

  • You are highly motivated to meet KPI’s and achieve results, with a positive and solution focused mindset
  • You have the ability to follow processes and manage multiple competing demands by prioritising tasks, while maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • You have strong assessment skills and well developed interpersonal skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to positively negotiate and influence 
  • You have demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining effective Client and Candidate relationships 
  • You are a professional with ethical approach to your work and demonstrate integrity
  • You are proficient in using computers, with word processing, database, email and internet skills
  • You hold a current Drivers Licence

Full working rights in Australia is a mandatory requirement the role.
